ISLAMABAD – The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be tried separately provided his children and son-in-law fail to appear before accountability court on October 9.
The directives were passed by Judge Muhammad Bashir who quoted a clause of NAB ordinance for separating the case of Nawaz Sharif from his children Hassan, Hussain, Maryam and son-in-law Captain Safdar, subject to the condition that the latter refuse to show up for the next hearing.
The accountability court judge also issued bailable arrest warrants for Maryam Nawaz while non-bailable arrest warrants against Hassan, Hussain and Captain Safdar were also issued.
Earlier, in the day Nawaz Sharif showed up in the accountability court where he was scheduled to be indicted.
