Fourth edition of Kashmir World film festival began on 28th November. This seven day long festival has been a big success. Submissions from India and international levels were seen. Held in Srinagar this film festival has attracted all the movie buffs to participate. Prestigious Bollywood filmmakers and actors attended this event. Tabu, Madhur Bhandarkar and Rahul Mittra were also seen attending the festival.
The idea behind this even is to bring world class films to Kashmir. Providing a platform to all the young and fresh filmmakers is also one of the goals. The festival has received an overwhelming response from young talented artist of the valley. The festival has received more than 215 submissions taking it to 11 countries. The festival is attended by more than 8500 people.
It also includes elaborate discussions, screenings and interactive sessions. Press conference are arranged to give it more hype and name. The best part about it is that young talent is given workshops which enable them to explore more about films and filmmaking.
