PSL 6 – Karachi Kings beat Peshawar Zalmi by 6 wickets

KARACHI – Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by six wickets in the 13th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 at the National Stadium in Karachi. 

Kings’ opening batsman Sharjeel Khan went for duck and at that point skipper Babar Azam put the team on his should as he made unbeaten 77 runs off 47 balls.

Sharjeel Khan was replaced by Joe Clarke, who could score 17 runs before he was sent to pavilion by Muhammad Irfan.

Clarke was replaced by Coling Ingram, who also remained failed to perform. However, Mohammad Nabi provided a much-needed partnership to Azam by scoring 67 runs to help team achieve the target of 189 runs.

Earlier, Kings won the toss and elected to field first against Zalmi.
