LAHORE – Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has announced EMUI 8.0-based Android Oreo 8.0 update for its Mate 10 lite.
The rollout for HUAWEI Mate 10 lite, a fan-favourite in the mid-range smartphone segment, is starting now and will be completed in 3 phases for all smartphones, by the end of this month.
“The wait is finally over as Android Oreo Update and EMUI 8.0 packed with new exciting features are now available in all Huawei Mate10 Lite. The Update will roll out in 3 phases and will be available on all phones until the end of the month. So keep a check at the update centre to get your update. Your experience is paramount for us.” the smartphone maker said in a statement on Tuesday.

The new update includes artificial intelligence (AI) such as real-time scene and object recognition, smart tips, AI-driven language translation, application shortcut, smart text selection, and more.
The new update significantly cuts down on the number of steps needed to achieve the desired function through its smart applications like navigation dock and smart screen and enables the user to reach 90% of the core functions in just a single click.
