ISLAMABAD – Meta-owned WhatsApp continues to roll out exciting features for users and now instant messaging app allowed users to change backgrounds and apply filters during video calls.
The new feature will add more personal touch to video calls with your personal one, WhatsApp said, saying chatting on the app should always feel fun and expressive.
The new filters bring lively atmosphere, allowing users to add vibrant colors or artistic effects in the BG. Users will also be able to maintain privacy by selecting backgrounds that transport them to settings like cool café or aesthetic room.
Fun loving people can choose from Living Room, Office, Cafe, Pebbles, Foodie, Smoosh, Beach, Sunset, Celebration, and Forest.
With bunch of new options, WhatsApp will also introduce Touch Up and Low Light options to enhance users’ confidence by improving the brightness and overall look of their environment during calls. You can go into effects icon in the top right corner of the screen to browse and select preferred filters and BGs.
This exciting update is expected to be available to all users in the near future, making video calls more vibrant and enjoyable than ever before. Let it be known that Voice calling was launched in 2015 and video calling followed in 2016 on WhatsApp.
