ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Khyber District today (Friday) where he will address a public meeting at the Sports Complex Jamrud.
During his visit, the prime minister is expected to announce a number of development projects for the area. He will also announce mega projects for Khyber tribal district.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, federal and provincial ministers will also accompany the premier during the visit.
All arrangements for the PM’s visit and public meeting at Sports Complex Jamrud have been finalized.
On Wednesday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad and exchanged views were exchanged on the matters regarding the development of the tribal areas merged with KP.
Special Assistant to PM Iftikhar Durrani was also present in the meeting.
Earlier, Prime Minister had visited Bajaur tribal district where he also addressed a public meeting.
