Kangana Ranaut does as she pleases – she wears her heart on her sleeve and is unapologetically bold and vocal about her choices. She is as real as a woman gets!
She recently said, “I want to get married this year and hopefully, it should happen.”
When asked about her reasons for wanting to get married she said:
“When you are younger, you have different priorities. Marriage is a kind of burden, you can’t travel on your own, can’t think on your own. I can go to parties with my sister, I can date people for some time, have relationships. But then people start drifting away from your lives. My brother has got married, my sister will have a baby soon. You feel like you can’t have a set of frivolous friends coming over on weekends when your family is busy with their own families. You want the same for yourself.”
Previously she had mentioned she would tie the knot in 2017. At the Lakme Fashion Week media interaction this week, Kangana was asked when she intended to get married, she responded by saying “Hopefully, very soon”, she added playfully, “Give me a deadline until next February!”
