Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed’s son lays foundation stone of Green Earth Roshni School’s new building

Green Earth Roshni School is a project of Roshni Association and was started in 2005. The school provides meaningful education to the 174 children of the local area. It also provides fee of cost education to children of marginalised communities.
Mr Bhatti has donated 3 Kanal (13,000 square feet) land for the new school building and is bearing the cost of entire construction which is 25 million.
To celebrate the start on site of a new school near Hayer village in Lahore, school children, parents, Roshni Association staff and friends attended the event.
Senior vice president Roshni, Nasira Mehmood, Ijaz Rao and Zarar Siddique also attended the event and appreciated the new project.
Addressing the ceremony, Roshni Association General Secretary Zahid Durrani said: “We are all highly thankful to Zafar Bhatti for his tremendous efforts for the children of the local community.”
The ceremony marked the important milestone with the laying and blessing of a foundation stone. The new school 13,000 sq. feet building will provide more classrooms, halls, a kitchen and dining facility to educate the unfolding unique capacities of children by engaging the creative imagination of the mind, the spirit of the heart and the skillful use of the hands, from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
