Pakistani starlet, Ushna Shah, just recently took to her Facebook page with a public post to express her disappointment in the Pakistani film industry during the month of Ramazan; this open letter took all social media platforms as well as the internet by storm.
Ushna criticized actors for faking things that they do in the name of religion and being part and parcel of the rat race that begins in the Holy month in the name of ‘Ramadan transmissions’.
Here’s an excerpt from Usha’s letter in which she lashed out against the Pakistani female celebs!
“I have zero respect for the veil [donning] Virgin Marys who make millions off Ramazan transmissions by preaching the word of God on Iftar shows and become tutti fruitties a month later.“
In response to the actress’s alleged call to ‘fame’, our one and only Pakistani queen of drama Meera Ji, retaliated in the only way she knows how. This time she couldn’t help resist savagely roasting Ushna Shah for all that she professed about Pakistan’s film industry.
Don’t bite the hand that feeds you @ushnashah – the industry is what makes us. Good or bad, it’s our house to cleanhttps://t.co/UDC3Fj2Vk6

There’s more to add to the fun! The bubbly Miss Meera-Ji is not the only one who disagrees with what the Bashar Momin actress had to say. The dapper Parwaz Hai Junoon actor Hamza Ali Abbasi also took to his Facebook to express his views. Although it didn’t seem like he was directly targeting Ushna, it might as well just be a response to her post.
“Please dont mock those Muslims who start practicing in Ramzan, don’t call them hypocrites.“
