The balloting for the housing project Apni Chhat Apna Ghar, initiated for low-income families, was held under the auspices of the Punjab Information Technology Board in Lahore.

Those successful applicants in the draw can take out loans up to Rs1.5 million, with a monthly installment of Rs14,000 over 7 years.
The applicants can also check their application status on official portal of scheme. Login on the official portal acag.punjab.gov.pk and can know if you are selected for the loan or not. The officials of all districts will also contact the candidates selected for scheme.
All the deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners will display list of successful candidates in their offices and their social media official pages. They can either visit the office to check the list or contact these officers through their social media pages.

When was Apni Chhat Apna Ghar programme launched?
On Sept 5, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar programme.
During the launch event at the Commissioner’s Office in Dera Ghazi Khan, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz conducted the draw in the presence of provincial ministers, assembly members, and local dignitaries.
In the draw held in Dera Ghazi Khan, the first name drawn was that of a citizen named Abdul Latif.
Successful applicants will receive the first installment of the loan by September 15.
Maryam Nawaz stated in her address that this scheme will prove to be the largest project in Pakistan.
