LAHORE (Online) – Punjab police have decided to upload photographs of thieves, street criminals, robbers and proclaimed offenders on its website.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Inspector General of police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera on Thursday.
The move is aimed at enabling common man to seek access to information about criminals, according to a police spokesman. Uploading security guidelines for women will also be made part of process of upgradation of website.
The website will also provide security tips to general public so that people could benefit from security guidelines at homes, vehicles, banks during shopping and traveling.
