LOS ANGELES – American rapper Nelly Mo was arrested after he was accused by a girl of raping her in tour bus in northern US state of Washington.
The 42-year-old singer was arrested after police in Seattle received a call on Saturday.
The suspect was assaulted reportedly on the tour bus hours after Nelly had performed at the White River Amphitheater just east of Auburn.
He was later released from custody.
The rapper took to social media, saying he was not charged with any crime.
To be absolutely clear. I have not been charged with a crime therefore no bail was required. I was released , pending further investigation.

According to his lawyer ” Rapper is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation,” and the allegation “is motivated by greed and vindictiveness,”
He added that Nelly “is prepared to pursue all legal avenues to redress any damage caused.” and Rapper told that “I an completely innocent”
Nelly had schedule for performing on Saturday evening with country duo Florida Georgia Line in the city of Ridgefield, was booked on a charge of second-degree rape.
Nelly was arrested in 2015 for felony possession of drugs, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Tennessee.
