HERNANDO (Web Desk) – Mothers are the best caregivers! This was proven once again at a Florida shopping store in the city of Hernando, where a mother apparently played tug-of-war with a kidnapper to save her baby girl from being kidnapped.
According to The Washington Post, the whole scene was recorded on a surveillance camera.
The clip shows the mother, whose identity has been kept secret, first shopping and later fighting for her 13-year-old after a man grabbed child.
This attracted the mother’s attention, who rushed to save her child. After some seconds of fighting, the kidnapper can be seen running away.
The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, in a statement, identified the accused as Craig Bonello and said he had been arrested by off-duty Deputy Jonathan Behnen, who reached the same store just in time to see the kidnapper running away.
The deputy was informed about the incident by the store manager and he quickly moved to arrest the culprit, the statement added.
