Fbr Chairman Warns Non Filers Of Action Starting Nov 1

ISLAMABAD – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Rashid Langrial has warned that actions against non-filers will begin after November 1.

In a media briefing in Islamabad, Rashid Langrial stated that the number of income tax returns has exceeded 4 million, and the number of income tax returns filed has doubled compared to last year.

He emphasized that there will be no extension in the deadline for submitting income tax returns.

The deadline for filing income tax returns has been extended.

The FBR Chairman warned that large-scale actions against non-filers will commence in November, and complete data on non-filers is available.

He mentioned that the Prime Minister has directed that tax evaders should not be spared. It is important to note that the deadline for submitting income tax returns is October 14.
