Pakistan Navy ship arrives in Turkey for multinational drills
The Dogu Akdeniz-19 maritime exercises will take place from Nov 9-20

ANKARA – Pakistan Navy ship Alamgir has arrived in Turkey for a 12-day multinational maritime exercise –named “Dogu Akdeniz-19” (Eastern Mediterranean) – which will run through Nov. 20.
The vessel reached the Aknaz Naval Base in the Aegean Sea off Mugla's coast on Saturday.
The US, Canada, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Greece and Spain are also participating in the drills that are aimed to operate in a multi-threat environment while providing advance training opportunities to the participants.
Turkish navy vessels also participate in drills hosted by Pakistan . The naval forces of Turkey conducted a joint drill in February in the Arabian Sea dubbed Turgutreis-III.
