England announce 17-member squad for Pakistan series

The England cricket team has announced a 17-member squad for the Test series against Pakistan.

Ben Stokes will captain the English team in the three-Test series during the tour of Pakistan. This will be his return to the team following an injury.

The English squad also includes Rehan Ahmed, Gus Atkinson, Shoaib Bashir, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Jordan Cox, Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Josh Hall, Jack Leach, Ollie Pope, Matthew Potts, Joe Root, Jamie Smith, Ollie Stone, and Chris Woakes.

The Test series between England and Pakistan is scheduled for October.

Due to construction work at Karachi’s stadium, there were reports about a change in the venue for the Pakistan-England series.

However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to announce a new schedule for the series. It is anticipated that the PCB will release the revised schedule by the end of this week.

Previously, PCB sources mentioned that the first Test between Pakistan and England is scheduled to start on October 7 in Multan, but a revised schedule for the series is expected soon.
