DALLAS – At least seven people were killed during a shoot out at a home in Plano, Dallas suburb, on Sunday evening, while a suspect also killed in the incident.
The local media reported that the deadly shooting occurred around 8pm during what has been reported as a house party underway to watch a Dallas Cowboys football match in the area of North Texas.
According to local police, an officer reached the spot after getting information and confronted a suspected shooter as he entered into the house.
The suspect was killed during an exchange of fire, while the office remained unhurt.
Seven people, all adults, were found dead in the Plano home. The rescue officials have shifted two victims to hospital for treatment.
The police is probing the matter to uncover the motive behind the killings and there is no report regarding any relationship between suspect and deceased people.
