CM Shehbaz seeks report on killing of teenage servant allegedly by MPA s daugter

LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday sought a report over the alleged killing of a teenage servant by the daughter of a member of Punjab Assembly.

As per reports, the tortured body of 17-year-old Akhtar was recovered from the residence of Fauzia, the daughter of MPA Shah Jahan, near Akabari gate Lahore late Tuesday.

Two siblings, including deceased and his 11-year-old sister named Atiya, had been employed by the accused for domestic services, Dawn news reported.

According to police, the accused landlady reportedly tortured boy to death, besides beating up his sister.

After recovering the body, the police shifted it to the hospital for postmortem and took his sister, Atiya, in custody, besides informing their parents lived in Nankana Sahib.

Following the complaint by the victim’s father, a murder case has been registered against Fauzia at the Akbari Gate Police Station.

On the other hand, the accused lady and her family are still at large after the incident and her housed is also locked.

The family of the accused landlady claimed that the 17-year-old had gulped something poisonous.
