ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said that an air ambulance to take former prime minister Nawaz Sharif out of the country for treatment will arrive in Lahore tomorrow (Wednesday).
The PML-N Twitter account quoted Marriyum Aurangzeb as saying that the doctors have advised that the sooner Nawaz will be moved out of the country for medical treatment the better it would be for his health.

The PML-N spokesperson said that the doctors will start preparing Nawaz for his travels today, adding that the doctors will use steroids and other medicines to maintain PML-N supremo’s platelets up to the levels, required for travelling.

She informed that former prime minister’s health is deteriorating day by day, and the doctors instructed the family to get an air ambulance yesterday, she said further.
Aurangzeb said that identifying and diagnosing the reason behind Nawaz’s low platelet counts will be the major challenge for the doctors, who will treat him abroad.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair Federal Cabinet’s sub-committee session today to discuss the issue of removing Nawaz's name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Pakistani rupee remains stable against US dollar in the open market on 29 March, 2024.
In the open market, the US dollar was being quoted at 278.3 for buying and 281.05 for selling.
Euro moves down to 299.75 for buying and 302.75 for selling while British Pound hovers around 353.75 for buying, and 357.25 for selling.
UAE Dirham AED remains stable at 75.55 whereas the Saudi Riyal saw minor increase, with new rates at 73.70.
