London- Meghan Markle attends her first royal engagement with Queen Elizabeth along with Prince William and his wife on Monday. The royal family gathered at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Service. This is Markle’s first official royal engagement with was also attended by British Prime Mminister Theresa May and Patricia Scotland along with 2000 strong congregation for the service.

It is known to be the largest inter-faith annual gathering. Over 800 schoolchildren and young people also participated in this event.
Queen Elizabeth has been head of the Commonwealth since 1952, which now has 53 worldwide representatives representing over 2.4 billion people.
