PESHAWAR – An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Malakand Division on Friday morning.
A report of Pakistan Meteorological Department stated that an earthquake occurred measuring 5.3 on international Richter scale at 09.36PST of Friday morning, with a depth of 113km and 36.15N latitude and 70.49 longitudes.
The epicentre of the quake was in Hindukush range, Afghanistan. The tremors were felt in Malakand, Dir upper and lower districts.
