BROOKLYN – Aziz Ansari, a US comedian and actor is the latest name hit with allegations of sexual assault.
In a detailed account published by ‘Babe Magazine’, 23 year old Brooklyn-based photographer Grace (psuedonym) said she felt ‘victimized’ after going on a date with Ansari and ‘crying alone in an Uber’ at the end.
The first hand account says that, “I went on a date with Aziz Ansari. It turned into the worst night of my life.” According to her, they went back to Aziz’s apartment where he repeatedly tired to initiate sexual contact and she kept resisting. Grace also said that Aziz coerced her into performing oral sex on him.
Aziz Ansari has responded to the allegations, saying that that act was ‘consensual’.
In a statement released, Aziz has said that he went on a date that “ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual.”
“It was true that everything did seem okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and confused. I took her words to heart and responded privately after taking time to process what she had said,” he said.
