CHICAGO – At least five people have been killed and several others injured after a gunman opened fire at an industrial park in Illinois west of Chicago city in the US, the Radio Pakistan reported.
The shooting took place at a manufacturing company in Aurora, a suburb about 40 miles west of Chicago.
Several police officers were also wounded in the shootout, including two of the first who entered the building, at a manufacturing complex in Aurora, Illinois.
A spokesman of police said the gunman, identified as 45-year-old Gary Martin, believed to be an employee of the facility, was also killed.
In a tweet, US President Donald J Trump has lauded law enforcement and expressed his condolence to all of the victims and their families.

The police said that the motive for the shooting is not known yet.
