LAHORE – Azfar Jafri’s directorial venture ‘Sherdil’, a film on Pakistan’s Air Force will have Armeena Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar sharing the screen along with Mohib Mirza and Sabeeka Imam. Asfar Jafri has big films under his name like his directorial debut ‘Janaan’ and the latest hit ‘Parchi’ which just released in 2018.

According to sources, the film is to be shot in Pakistan and Egypt, with the filming in Islamabad already on the roll. Armeena and Mikaal both play the roles of Air Force officers, which will definitely be an interesting avatar to watch.

Speaking about the the timings of the film as Hamza Ali Abbas’s starrer film ‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ will be releasing in 2018 as well, Azfar told Express Tribune, “Yes, I’m aware of ‘Parwaaz Hay Junoon’ but ‘Sherdil’ is a totally different film. It has a different story and angle so we are not concerned about that.”
