Huawei launches first in-display selfie camera nova 4 smartphone

SHENZHEN — Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has launched its first smartphone with an in-display selfie camera – nova 4.

The Huawei nova 4 comes with a 6.4-inch IPS LCD with the resolution of 2310x1080 pixels.

The High Model nova 4 comes with a triple camera setup of 48MP f/1.8 main sensor, a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle snapper, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The Standard Model nova 4 comes with a 20MP f/1.8 main camera, the rest remain unchanged.

The in-display (or punch-hole) front camera is a 25MP f/2.0 shooter.

The SoC on the new smartphone is Kirin 970 chipset, 128 GB internal storage, 8GB of RAM and 3,750mAh battery (with 18W fast charging).

The nova 4 comes with Android 9.0 under EMIU 9.0.1.

The Huawei nova 4's High model with a 48MP camera will launch in China first, priced at CNY 3,400 while the 20MP Standard model will be available for CNY 3,100.
