17th ITCN Asia exhibition starts in Karachi

KARACHI – The 17th ITCN Asia (2017) the largest-ever exhibition and conference on information technology and telecommunications in Pakistan has kicked off at the Karachi Expo Center, a statement said on Monday.

Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair inaugurated the exhibition, which will be continued till September 21.

It will cover important topics such as challenges of digital security for media, a telecom summit, CEO’s forum for Pakistan Software Export Board, an information security conference and a summit on start-ups, the statement said. The center of discussions will be focused on digital transformation in all verticals, it added.

The event promises great enrichment to this dynamic and valuable industry. The conference is occupying over 150,000sq feet of exhibition area, and expects more than 600 international & domestic brands with over 150 foreign delegates and participants from more than 25 countries. -Online

Since its inception in 2001, this mega event, organised by the Ecommerce Gateway Ltd, has made great enrichments in this robust industry, it said.

The three-day annual event features international conferences such as China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the role of Pakistan’s IT industry.
