KARACHI – Gold registered gains in domestic market of Pakistan to high fresh high on Thursday amid rising global prices.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price surged by Rs800 to reach Rs268,500. Similarly, the price of 10-gram increased by Rs685 to settle at Rs230,195.
In international market, the price of the precious metal moved up by $8 to $2,950 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver price remained unchanged in domestic market as per tola rate stands at Rs2,950 and 10-gram is being sold for Rs2,529.14.
A day earlier, gold registered a decline in local market after it hit record-high earlier this week. According to the association per tola gold price dropped by Rs300 to settle at Rs267,700.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram decreased by Rs257 to reach Rs229,510.
