ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – President Mamnoon Hussain has rejected six appeals of mercy filed by death penalty convicts, on Friday, local media reported.
The pleading convicts included Bhai Khan, Muhammad Bashir, Muhammad Faisal, Muhammad Afzal, Munawwar and Abdul Aziz.
All of them had requested the presidential pardon when pleas were rejected by Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Pakistani constitution permits president to pardon any of convicts when he pleads.
