Nomination race against Sanders over, says Hillary Clinton

WASHINGTON (News Desk) – US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has said that her primary race against Bernie Sanders is over, as both contestants are set to face off each other in California primary on June 7.

In an interview, Hillary said she would be the nominee for her party because holds a commanding lead in the delegate count.

Meanwhile Bernie Sander is preparing to cause a dent in Clinton’s presidential campaign in California primary, which has over 400 pledged delegates. A major victory on June 7 can really turn the table for Mr Sanders.

Bernie Sanders has come under pressure to bow out since Donald Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee.

The Vermont senator continues to insist that he has a narrow path to the nomination and will fight for every last delegate.
