ISLAMABAD – The federal government has decided to allocate Rs5 billion for the provision of facilities in the areas along with the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
A stakeholders’ meeting was held the other day regarding implementation methodology, the establishment of the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) and the formulation of Project Document (PC-1) for LoC.
Priority sectors were missing health facilities, rural access roads, shell-proof community bunkers and creation of Disaster Management infrastructure.
Secretary State Disaster Management Authority, Special Secretary Health, Divisional Commissioners, Member (M&C) BoR, DG Local Government, Deputy Director Local Government, Member Implementation BoR, Secretary board of Revenue, Director Planning Electricity, Director Planning Health, Planning officer Local Government and Assistant Secretary (I) BoR participated in the meeting.
