ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday directed foreign office officials to make arrangements for transportation of a plane-load of wheat stock to Afghanistan’s city of Kunduz which was recently recaptured by forces following a Taliban attack.
According to a statement the premier has taken a serious notice of the food shortage faced by returning residents of Kunduz.
This measure is being taken as a goodwill gesture on behalf of the people and Government of Pakistan for the returning residents of Kunduz facing severe food shortage after Taliban retreat.
