ISLAMABAD – Israeli forces conducted massive air raids in Lebanon, targeting weapons cache facility, in one of the most intense periods of aerial bombardment in recent times.
Hamas leader Ibrahim Aqil was among those who lost their lives. Hezbollah confirmed his death, remembering him as one of its great leaders. In retaliation, Iran-backed group Hezbollah announced that it had also launched strikes on military targets in northern Israel.
IDF indicated that military operations would continue over the weekend, advising residents to prepare for gunfire and explosions.
Hezbollah’s top leader condemned the recent deadly explosions in Lebanon, calling them a declaration of war and asserting that Israel had crossed all moral and legal boundaries. These explosions, which reportedly killed scores f people and injured around 3,000, involved devices detonating simultaneously across the country.
Apparently, Tel Aviv is entering new phase of the war, focusing its efforts on the northern front. The conflict intensified after a Hamas attack from Gaza, leading to significant casualties and displacement on both sides.
Amid recent escalation in the Middle East, militia groups in Iraq and other countries also warned of deadly Israeli strike in Beirut. These militias vowed to respond forcefully and with no mercy to avenge those who were killed in the strike.
