Petrol, diesel likely to go down in January

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif seeking decreased prices of petroleum products by the start of start of 2016.

According to the summary ODRA has requested a cut in petrol price by Rs1.50 per litre, high speed diesel by Rs2.60, light diesel by Rs3.45, kerosene oil by Rs3.70 and high octane by Rs4.00 per liter.

Prices of petroleum products should at least go down by Rs10 following the the sudden decline in the price of crud oil in international market to 11-year-low, observers say.
