LAHORE – A video started to circulate on social media of an alleged Punjab Public Service Commission’s (PPSC) examination centre where a woman candidate entered the examination hall causing chaos.
Being one of the candidates at the examination centre, the woman used her smartphone to record the scenario.
Upon entering the premises, she began to quickly accuse the invigilators of professional misconduct.
The candidate alleged that some invigilators were giving out answers to a student during the exam.
She blamed the staff members for assisting a student to write her exam, while they claimed that the woman candidate was visually impaired hence qualifies for attaining assistance of anonymous reader and writer.
The woman along with other female candidates demanded the medical certificate of the blind.
She then went on looking for the Superintendent to complain about the irregularities, to which a person present there replied that the candidate was disabled, and the ground floor was assigned specifically for the physically challenged.
She also demanded the roll number slips for the confirmation of their status while he kept on insisting that there was a misunderstanding on her part.
It is though unclear where the incident took place and if there were any malpractices being carried out during the examination.
Upon contact by Daily Pakistan, PPSC’s online help representative refused to provide any information regarding the matter.
