MUMBAI – Katrina Kaif made her fabulous and long-awaited entry on Facebook on the occasion of her 33rd birthday and since then she has been rocking it.
Since joining the world’s largest social media platform, the actress has been sharing some very cool pictures, statuses and updates with her fans. However, everybody wants to know what prompted Katrina to suddenly turn into a social media animal. According to the Indian media, it was none other than ex-boyfriend Salman Khan, who is still fast friends with Kat.
“It was Salman Khan who convinced her to join social media. Her brand team was keen that she join, but the actress stayed away. Salman told her that in today’s times it’s a necessity as one can clarify one’s stand or take a stand on certain issues. Since his advice is always practical, Katrina decided to make her presence felt on social media,” said a friend of Katrina.
Though Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif broke up a while back, the former couple have been cordial with each other. Katrina has been spotted meeting Salman quite a few times recently. In fact, he is one of the people she looks up to and seeks advice from. She even visited Salman the day after her break up with Ranbir Kapoor was announced.
Recently, Salman and Katrina even had a good time chatting at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftar party. So if anyone could have convinced her to join the social media, it had to be Salman Khan.
Salman had even wished her on her birthday via Facebook. He had posted, “Katrina Kaif welcome to Facebook and wishing you a very Happy Birthday.” And Katrina had promptly replied back, saying, “Thank You Sultan.” Ain’t that cute?
