PositiveChange: Popular music platform launches transgender singers for first time in Pakistan

KARACHI – Pakistan is a culturally rich country and every area is known for its traditions, customs, and art. Coke Studio is a leading music platform at international level and every year they come up with outstanding ideas and songs. This year’s Coke Studio season song is out and we are in love with it for many reasons.

The talented singers of Pakistan have lent their vocals for this motivational song and apart from that for the very first time, any music platform has launched Transgender community. Yes, you read it right. Time is changing and people are breaking taboos and mental blocks.

Let’s listen to Coke studio 11 anthem:

The diversity in this homeland can be felt strongly while listening to the anthem and also one gets so overwhelmed to see famous singers in the video which include Ibrar Ul Haq, Ali Sethi, Ali Azmat, Sufi music Master Abida Parveen and most importantly two trans singers named: Naghma and Lucky.

This is really a great initiative by the Coke Studio management authorities and yes now we can say proudly that Pakistan is a healthy mental state where the people know the imporatnce of white portion in the flag.

The song has touched our hearts and soul. We hope you also felt the same. Such steps can lead us to a prosperous nation and promote justice and equality among people.
