Finnish PM Juha Sipilä flies to Helsinki in plane’s TOILET

HELSINKI (Web Desk) – In a highly bizarre incident, Finland’s Prime Minister Juha Sipilä had to fly to the northern town of Oulu from Helsinki in the aircraft’s toilet, Finnish daily Helsingin Sanomat reported on Monday.

The premier was going to fly to Oulu with his wife, but negotiations in the Finnish capital reportedly took longer than expected due to health and social welfare issues, according to the paper.

The couple missed various flights, and had to resort to catching an emergency services plane that flew to Oulu.

However, there was only one spare seat on the aircraft, so Mr Sipilä courteously gave it to his spouse and spent the hour-long flight in the plane’s toilet.
