KokoKorina may be a disaster but here is the good that it brought

This week was quite eventful for Coke Studio, Momina Mustehsan, Ahad Raza Mir and Pakistanis. The remake of Koko Korina took the entire nation by a storm. The much hyped about song turned out to be a disaster and started trending on Youtube for all the wrong reasons.

But it isn’t all bad. Here is the list of good things that came out of this catastrophe.

COUPLE GOALS:

As much as many of us hated the song, the good thing about it is that it set the bar for couple support way too high. Sajal Aly’s support for Ahad Raza Mir, despite the failure, is kinda amazing.

No one switched on the TV, thus saved power:

We all can agree that we have power shortage and if it weren’t for Koko Korina and the feud on Twitter between Shireen Mazari and Momina Mustehsan, people would have stick to their routine of watching dramas on TV and waste a lot of electricity. Thank-you Koko Korina for taking on this social responsibility.

The nation enjoyed some really good burns:

Talking about the Twitter feud who all enjoyed all the good burns? It all started when Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari tweeted her opinion about the remake and things got WEIRD.

It was just an opinion on the song – Coke Studio like to call piece of art – untill Momina brought Human Rights and Cyber Bullying into it. WHATTTTT? :O

Also, Wajahad Saeed Khan and Shireen Mazari’s daughter Iman Zainab were quick to indulge in Twitter Drama.

Good relations with India:

Koko Korina succeded where our politicians failed. That’s right, Koko Korina finally brought the two countries together. What a relief.

Last but not the least, Momina Mustehsan took us down to the memory lane by giving that Uncle Ben from Spiderman reference:
