RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army has launched a mobile video game which will be available to users on Android platforms, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Saturday.
‘The Glorious Resolve’, which was launched on the occasion of Pakistan Day (March 23), is initially available for android mobile phones and will soon be available for iPhones and PCs.
The game allows the users to fight the terrorists as Cobra Pilots and SSG Commandos in a series of missions in major battles of anti-terrorism operations undertaken by Pakistan armed forces and law enforcement agencies, like Operation Peochar 2009.
More missions will be added to the game later, the military’s media wing announced.
Earlier in 2011, a documentary was launched by ISPR having the same title, The Glorious Resolve, which highlighted the epic of two soldiers who fought against all odds even being heavily outnumbered when 1,500 miscreants raided one of the section level outpost of an Infantry Battalion in South Waziristan Agency.
The documentary focused not only on the sacrifices and achievements of the Pakistan Army but also its ‘glorious resolve’ to uproot the menace of terrorism from the land of the pure.
