MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Workers of India’s largest political party Congress have named a public toilet after veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor.
A group of Congress workers gathered in Shivaji Park in Allahabad and placed a board of Rishi Kapoor’s name outside a Sulabh toilet, according to the reports in Indian media.
The absurd move comes a week after the actor criticized Congress in a series of tweets.
We must name important assets of the country who have contributed to society. Har cheez Gandhi ke naam? I don’t agree. Sochna log!

THINK. There are 64 prominent places named after them only in New Delhi! Do you need that many to commemorate them? pic.twitter.com/zdmVEAaal7

When told about the Allahabad toilet, Kapoor said he was thrilled. He added that at least he will be of some use to someone as these people (Congress loyalists) are of no use to anyone.
Kapoor said he takes pride in the fact that the Sulabh Shauchalaya (the toilets) is named after him because it is the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet project right now, the TOI reported.
The actor had last week shared a series of tweets blaming the Congress for naming important roads, airports and other properties after the Nehru-Gandhis.
The veteran actor said it seems the Allahabad Congress workers have not understood what he implied by his tweets. He clarified that he has nothing against the Nehru-Gandhi family.
