RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Army has made new appointments days after the federal government named General Asim Munir as new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and General Sahir Shamshad Mirza as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC).
Lieutenant General Nauman Zakria has been appointed as Commander of X Corps Rawalpindi, while Lt Gen Ahsan Gulrez has been made Director General Joint Staff at Joint Staff Headquarters.
Furthermore, Lt Gen Shahid Imtiaz has been named as quartermaster general, the post which was held by Gen Asim Munir before being promoted as army chief.
