Pakistani nation almost out of terror fear: General Raheel

RAWALPINDI (Staff Report)  – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has said that fear and retribution from the terrorists and criminals has largely been reduced.

He was addressing 49th Convocation Ceremony of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in Islamabad on Monday, Radio Pakistan reported.

He said the security needs to be transformed into an enduring peace and stability for the nation. He said the nation calls for a logical end to this fight against terrorism.

He congratulated the graduating students and stressed the need to invest in future generations to steer Pakistan towards success.

Earlier, President CPSP Professor Zafarullah Chaudhry in his welcome address acknowledged efforts of Raheel Sharif for peace and stability, achievements against terrorism and modernizing the health care system in Pakistan Army.

Army Chief was also conferred upon the honorary fellowship of the CPSP on his vision, resolve, sincerity and commitment against terrorism.
