CM Shehbaz: The ‘Mohsin-e-Aala of Janoobi Punjab’

The Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday 17th March visited the Dera Ghazi Khan District of South Punjab, which from a strategic and economic point of view holds huge significance. Abbreviated as D. G. Khan, it is also a city and headquarters of the Dera Ghazi Khan District as well.

On this occasion, a grand Jalsa was organized at Choti Zareen, a small town situated just a few kilometres South-West of the Dera Ghazi Khan District. The atmosphere at the Jalsa ghaa was highly charged as people there were extremely excited about CM Shehbaz’s presence.

The Chief Minister Punjab on his arrival first inaugurated the completed projects worth around Rs: 47 billion, which included “Rehabilitation / Widening 24 KM (10 to 12ft) road from ChotiZareen to ChotiBala,” costed around Rs: 352.725 million, “Construction of KotChutta By-pass consisting of 5.50 KM,” costed around Rs: 447.707 million, “Rehabilitation of metalled road from Indus Highway Mehboob More to BastiKokari, Basti MassuWala, BastiMithuWala to Alam Khan road via Kala Colony,” costed around Rs: 300.156 million and “20 bedded Trauma Center at T.H.Q Taunsa,” costed around Rs: 93.267 million.

While addressing to the public, Mian Shehbaz Sharif raised very concrete arguments about his delivery, and what his opponents actually are doing. CM Shehbaz said that it is now the right time for you to decide that who really served people, and who simply wasted their time.

He said and there is no doubt that he worked day-and-night for development projects considering national assets an obligation, and the infrastructural growth in South Punjab during his tenure is a superb example of it.

Mian Shehbaz gave a superb reply to his political opponents that the ones who pointlessly make statements that I am just concerned with the construction of roads and bridges, they should come and see the amazing success of the Daanish School at D. G. Khan and Rajanpur District, as it is providing state of the art education to the poor students of both these districts.

A superb point on which Mian Shehbaz laid huge emphasis is that Pakistan is a great blessing of the Allah Almighty, and it came into existence after huge sacrifices by our forefathers under the splendid leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He categorically said that all institutions are respectable, and made a great appeal to the Judiciary, Pakistan Army and the Parliament to work mutually for meeting the challenges being faced by Pakistan so that our beautiful nation can achieve remarkable triumphs.

The nationalistic trait of CM Shehbaz’s personality is something which distinguishes him from the rest to be the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. Speaking for Pakistan during his speech is phenomenal due to the fact that Pakistan at present is faced with humongous problems within inside and outside, and it is need of the hour that we all should leave our differences behind and work for the betterment of Pakistan. Surely, our nation needs this kind of a leader.

Another magnificent initiative about which CM made the announcement during his speech is providing 100 acres land for the formation of Cadet College and Welfare City in the Fort Munro. The establishment of Cadet College in Fort Munro is without a doubt a landmark project, that will facilitate residents of the Dera Ghazi Khan and other areas of South Punjab.

The firm development vision of Mian Shehbaz Sharif is evident from this fact that the next day right after the Jalsa, the Punjab School Education Department and the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) signed an agreement for setting up Cadet College in Fort Munro about which CM Shehbaz made the announcement earlier, and himself attended the signing ceremony along with the Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, the Air Chief Marshal and the other officials. This certainly is a perfect example of ‘Punjab Speed’ that is proudly attributed to CM Shehbaz’s wonderful performances regarding different development projects.

Sardar Jamal Khan Leghari, the head of Leghari tribe and the Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Khan Leghari massively acknowledged what CM Shehbaz has done for the South Punjab, especially Dera Ghazi Khan District. The biggest and an excellent recognition came from Sardar Jamal Khan Leghari for CM Shehbaz, when he called him ‘Mohsin-e-Aala of Janoobi Punjab’ (South Punjab).

Everyone at the Jalsaa ghaa had this unanimous opinion that the Peace and development success Punjab has achieved, INSHAALLAH, the whole Pakistan will have it if he is elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
