LAHORE – Former chief secretary Punjab and Balochistan Nasir Saeed Khossa was named as caretaker chief minster Punjab on Monday.

Khosa, who hailed from Dera Ghazi Khan, belongs to the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). He worked as chief secretory Punjab between 2010 and 2013.
He is the brother of former FIA DG Tariq Masood Khosa and Supreme Court judge Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
Nasir Saeed Khossa had also served in various other capacities in Punjab. Prior to his stint as Balochistan chief secretary, he served the province in different capacities between 1979 and 1991.
He is also recipient of the fellowship in public administration from Hubert H Humphrey, USA.
