ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that Pakistan would respond firmly to any aggression by India.
He was talking to newsmen after visiting CMH Sialkot on Saturday to inquire about the health of those injured during unprovoked firing by Indian forces.
The Defence Minister said India should not remain in any misconception as Pakistan knows how to defend itself.
He pointed out that Pakistan defended against Indian aggression in September 1965 and it would do so if India resorted to any misadventure.
The Minister regretted that the Indian Prime Minister was resorting to such tactics to support his sagging reputation at home.
Khawaja Asif said India is targeting civilian population which is cowardness of highest order.
