How we are missing females who are lowkey reshaping how we think of sizes

There has always been talks about ‘zero size’, model figures and the constant pressure present in our society for women to look a certain way but every day we miss women who are shattering such shallow thoughts without a debate and such is Sabyasachi’s new bride from Philippines.

Dolly Menghani looked beautiful on her wedding day in Sabyasachi dress which was not only appreciated by her family and friends [we are sure of that] but also by the designer and now us because why not? From years we have been debating on the concept of beauty and good looks which without a doubt are very subjective topics as it is said “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.”

Rather than promoting this concept through social media, films, societal norms we keep on pressurizing young girls and women who get body conscious loosing their minds over something which shouldn’t be even the topic of discussion! Basically starving themselves to a point where their shine gets lost.

Reading the designers caption it hit me so hard that we hardly get to see healthy brides or women who are confident in their own skins, who have battled with every other aunties comment like “Issay kon shadi karay ga” to “Gym nahi jaati?.” All this women empowerment but there are still women out there who tend to drag down other women.

We really need to stand together and fight against all the shallow thoughts which are weighing over our relationships. IF WE WON’T TALK ABOUT IT, NO ONE ELSE WILL!
