ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Anwar Zaheel Jamali reached Pakistan after an official visit to Turkey.
Jamali reached back to the country late Friday after attending Turkey’s Annual constitution conference held in Istanbul.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had written a letter to the chief justice seeking to set up a judicial commission to probe the issue of Panama Papers, after opposition parties rejected his earlier announcement that a commission headed by a retired judge would look into the matter.
It is expected that he will take an important decision in the next 72 hours regarding the Panama Leaks’ commission as it was delayed due to CJ’s scheduled visit to Turkey.
