MANAMA – A Pakistani barber was jailed after being convicted of stealing BD1,500 from his employer.
He also stole a refrigerator and other material owned by his employer while the latter was visiting abroad.
“I was abroad for one month, and when I returned I discovered that my employee had stolen BD1,518 and a refrigerator worth BD60 and other materials worth BD50,” the owner told prosecutors.

The Pakistani national admitted to committing the crime, according to the news portal.
He was tried before the High Criminal Court, which awarded a three months jail. The convict will be deported once he completes the sentence.
