Five summer trends to be continued in winter

When we say “history repeats itself”, we count fashion as well. We choose the styles we wish to wear and the trends we want to follow. What was in, what was out, what caught attention, what did not, what was favourite, what was not? We all need to catch up on the answers. Some styles are seasonal and some are not. Most of the fashion trends stay for a little while and then change but there is plethora of summer fashion trends that made their way to the winter season this year. Here are our top picks.

Muddled Prints

No matter how much of sequenced fabric we stocked in our closet, muddled-abstract patterns came in and changed the print game instantly. Muddled prints are non-representational art style of 20thcentury. You can be as creative as you want with any geometric, stripped or checked print paired with plain fabrics. From floral artwork to abstract lines, from shirts to shawls, they have definitely made their way into winter fashion as well.

Side buttons

Side buttons have always been trending onmini tops, long kurtis or trousers. Since each fashion designer is looking out for creative and fancy designs, this particular trend has brought all the eastern brands together. We have witnessed some really funky side button angrakha frocks at East Breakout which nobody would want to miss even in winter collection. Side buttons can also be adorned with beads, dori, thread embroidery or stones.

Mono-chrome prints

Monochromes are never season based. You can go mono tone or two-tone anytime with any clothe and with any trend. One colour or two shades when amalgamated get all the elegance and class rolled out of them for any kind of an event, be it formal or casual. A series of identical patterns on the fabric in black and white is relished both in eastern as well as western attire.

Bell sleeves

Bell sleeves are the easiest way to add a little drama to your outfit making it easy and super-wearable. This trend was not just a summer thing; you are going to see a lot more versions of these sleeves in winter too. This does not end here. As, you all know, how swiftly, boot cuts and bell bottoms have conquered the pants’ world. Bell sleeves add movement, femininity and whimsy to our clothes. These trends are not leaving us here but will emerge out in a variety of other shapes such as cuff and trumpets and petal sleeves.

Cognate Embroidery

One shade embroidery on another is so not groovy anymore. The real sass with a unique idea is brought by Breakout in their new eastern collection with an identical thread work giving a very warm, composed and a trendy look. If you appreciate the minimal embroidery and like to dress up subtle, this trend is definitely going to be your top choice in the coming winter.

These are the very few of so many fashion statements that we don’t want to leave even in the fall\winter. We hope to see all these trends in a more voguish and attractive way.
