SHEIKHUPURA – A 19-year-old boy has been arrested for raping a four years old girl in Punjab’s city Sheikhupura, police said on Saturday.
The suspect identified as Rehman, who allegedly raped the minor at a house. The victim was shifted to a local hospital, where her condition said to be out of danger.
The parents of the girl said they are poor, with the father being a Grade-4 employee at the government college. The claim of being pressurized by the accused and demand justice for their daughter.
As many as 11 cases of child sexual abuse are reported from across Pakistan every day, according to data collected by non-governmental organisation Sahil.
